Privacy policy

Account: your email address, and your name if Google provides it when you sign in with Google.

Interviews:every voice interview is recorded and transcribed so we can build your pack — that fact is shown before each call, and starting the call is your consent to it. If other people can be heard where you are, it's on you to make sure they're fine being recorded too. The transcript and what we extract from it — processes, rules, numbers, and open questions — are stored as your Operating Pack.

Team input: questions asked in Ask Mentus, corrections proposed by your team or through connected AI tools, and the email addresses you invite.

Payments: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers — only whether a purchase or subscription is active.

Usage: basic product events (page and feature usage) tied to your account, used to improve the product.

Advertising and analytics:our public marketing pages use Google tags (Analytics and Ads) and the Meta pixel to understand how people find Mentus and whether our advertising works. These set cookies and send your visit — pages viewed and events like starting a snapshot or purchasing — to Google and Meta, which may link that activity to your accounts with them. They load only on public marketing pages: never on your reports, your interviews, or any page containing your pack, and they never receive your pack's contents. You can limit them through your browser's cookie controls and your Google and Meta ad settings. We never sell your data.

The line we hold on learning:we study our own interviewing — which questions surface knowledge, where interviews run long — to make Mentus better at asking. We do not mine your pack's contents to build products, benchmarks, or insights for anyone else. What your business knows stays yours; only our craft improves.

We run on a small set of infrastructure providers, each receiving only what their job requires: Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (hosting), Vapi (voice calls — using Deepgram and AssemblyAI to transcribe your speech and ElevenLabs for the interviewer's voice), Anthropic (turning transcripts into your pack; API data isn't used to train their models), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), and Google (only if you sign in with Google). Separately, Google and Meta receive the advertising measurement data described above.

The knowledge in your Operating Pack belongs to your company. You can export it as Markdown or JSON anytime, from any report page. Canceling a subscription switches off the machinery (team Q&A, AI connections) — never your data, your reports, or your exports.

Report links use unguessable addresses and are readable by anyone you share them with — that's how sharing works. Treat a report link like the document itself.

Deleting a company from your dashboard permanently removes its pack, interviews, transcripts, and reports. To delete your entire account and everything under it, email hello@mentus.ai and we'll confirm within a few days.
